With over 2,800 team members, the Group clocked up a turnover of 1,089 milliard euros in 2017, 80% of which was exported to over 173 countries. This confirms our rank as the leading French exporter of wine and spirits. Our Wine & Spirits Estates hold the secret of age-old know-how at the heart of the very best wine-growing terroirs in our regions. State-of-the-art technology and processes guarantee our customers the very best quality and typicality of the Group’s products. Winemaker

Every year, more than 1,500,000 hl of wine are produced for the group exclusively on our domains and estates, or by French wine-growers working under multi-annual contracts within an ongoing, sustainable framework. We work in close cooperation with more than 30 partner cooperative wine-cellars and hundreds of viticulturists.

It is this strategy that has propelled the GCF Group to rank as the leading privately-owned winemaker in France.

As a privileged partner of wine-growers in the great wine-producing regions of France, the GCF Group heads committed, demanding and competent teams in each of its terroirs. Men and women who understand the challenges of each wine-growing region and whose heartfelt aim is to enhance the region’s typicality and know-how. Our winemaking, maturation, bottling and warehousing centres are at the cutting edge of technology. Our involvement in the wine business spans from A to Z.
Maturation specialist

The GCF Group covers all the trades in the industry and also the speciality wines for which the regions are so justly famous and proud: Vin Jaune and Vin de Paille (literally “straw wine”) in the Jura; the famous Vendanges Tardives (late harvest) and Grands Crus (vintage) wine of Alsace: gems from the Loire and the terroirs around Bordeaux with their prestigious châteaux. These are just some of the treasures demonstrating the wealth and renown of the French heritage.

Backed by its strong roots in regions such as Jura, Loire and Alsace, the GCF Group has risen to rank as the top French producer using traditional methods, excluding champagne. Its sparkling Crémants from Alsace, Bordeaux, Jura and Loire are regular award-winners on the international scene.
