Maldant-Pauvelot. Our family estate of 25 hectares introduces you to a full range of wines from Burgundy, from generic names to Grands Crus red and white Corton. On our exclusive terroir near the hill of Corton, between Ladua and Santenay, near Beaune, we have grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for decades.
The estate respects the charter of Bio-Advanced: a global approach related to the production, processing, management and distribution of wine in order to seek the most respectful techniques of the identity of the terroir and its environment, and in order to provide our customers with a typical, unique and long-lasting product. We are only witnesses, we strive to ensure the transmission of land to future generations in the best possible conditions. Everything on the estate is used to grow the vines and have very high quality grapes, in order to develop wines of international renown.
We have planted rosaceae (peach type) and buxaceae (boxwood) in our vines in order to recreate a habitat for the auxiliary fauna.
The very important choice of our rootstocks will influence the biological properties of soils. Summer and winter plowing are practiced to have living soils: the roots must therefore descend into the soil to extract the essence. In terms of oenology, we strive to use the techniques of protection of oxidation on a ripe grape, healthy, using a minimum of sulfur and intervening as little as possible so as not to disturb the terroir of origin: Careful grape harvests, vinified in thermo-regulated vats and aging with barrels of 228 liters in new oak in our stone cellars, are all assets to allow our wines to ennoble in your cellars.
