Georgia is cradle of wine, Georgia has more than millennial-standing viticulture history, and Healing properties of grapes have been recognized by Georgians since antiquity. It is wine and winemaking that represents the way of life and destiny of the Georgians.
 
The roots of Georgia’s viticulture to be traced as far back as to old times when curative value of wine used to be beyond any doubt.  And it is one of the reasons of so many long livers that Georgia is renowned for.
 
Wine is known to have a wholesome effect upon human’s health to supply the human body with lots of mineral substances and micro organisms of vital importance, to remove radioactive elements. Of course, when describing all the above properties we mean the value of a natural wine solely.
 
The founders of the company re to be ranked real wine connoisseurs since wine making has always been their traditional family occupation to be traced for back in the past.
 
On the emblem of the ‘’Baisubani’’ winery   you will see coat of arms of the Robitashvili Prince’s family, the rulers of Kakheti in old times.  One of the representatives of the famous family,  Zhiuli Robitashvili is now at head of the enterprise Kindzmarauli LTD. Its emblem displays a stork to which the family owes their title.
 
According to the family legend, at the close of the 12th century, during on the battle with Persians in arid steppes of Albania (today’s Azerbaijan, somewhere at the border of the Lagodekhi district of Georgia), Georgian troops were burning with thirsty and almost tormented to death. Their vitory was near but the warriors had no might to continue fighting . One of the warriors Robitashvili by named, had a tamed stork with him. He had  found the bird badly wounded, cured it and later on would never part with it in his war campaigns.
 
The exhausted warrior decided to save the thirsty bird and let it free. The stork flew up in the sky but was back in no time, keeping flying round the camping-ground as if encouraging the soldiers to follow it. With his last ounce of strength, Robitashvili followed the path showed by the bird. The stork landed by a spring . having quenched their thirst.
 
The Georgian warriors at last succeeded in defeating the enemy and the Robitashvilis were granted a Prince’s coat of arms as their emblem, the managerial staff of the wine enterprise will never fail to produce wine worthy of it. The wines are Prince’s indeed.
