June 26: Ruggeri's Birthday — 75 Years of Excellence!
Ruggeri, one of the most renowned producers of Prosecco, celebrates its 75th anniversary! Since its founding in 1950 by Giustino Bisol and his cousin Luciano Ruggeri on the picturesque hills of Valdobbiadene — a UNESCO World Heritage site today — Ruggeri has consistently blended tradition, innovation, and a quest for perfection.
Throughout its history, Ruggeri has showcased a commitment to quality and innovative approaches. Laura Mair, Ruggeri's general manager, emphasizes: “75 years is an important milestone and at the same time, a launchpad for new adventures. We continue to follow the spirit of our founders, innovating in both viticulture and winemaking.”
The founder's son, Paolo Bisol, notes: “The essence of Ruggeri lies in the pursuit of quality, which underpins every aspect of our work.” These words reflect the company’s philosophy, which has been key to its long-term success.
To mark this anniversary, Ruggeri is organizing a special event for over 100 of its producers — a gesture of gratitude for their contribution to the company’s success. The celebration will also symbolize the unity of everyone who contributes to creating Ruggeri's unique wines: from employees and sommeliers to customers and brand enthusiasts.
This fall, the company will unveil a refreshed design for one of its flagship lines, marking yet another milestone in its continuous evolution.
Ruggeri is a story of tradition and change, hard work, and bold vision. Every glass of their Prosecco tells a tale of 75 years of passion and excellence, and each new chapter promises to be even more inspiring.
Join the celebration and raise a glass to Ruggeri’s success — the adventure continues!
