The region was under the Mediterranean 16-20 M years ago Limestone soils with marine fossils. The Anoia River has been eroding its course for millions of years.
Aged for a minimum of 18 months The combination of calcareous soils, traditional varieties and the Mediterranean climate are the key factors for obtaining fresh wines with good acidity and great aging potential.
The Raventós farm is an agricultural organism that encompasses the entire cycle of 50 ha of vineyards, 10 ha of cereals, a small field of olive, almond and fig trees. In addition to two forests, a lake and the Serral hill.

Polycultures: On the farm we have different polycultures such as olive trees, roses, almond trees and different cereals; all of them help us to maintain the soil with better quality and structure, besides promoting a rich ecosystem. The polycultures that we have allow us to leave the plots at rest for a couple of years to strengthen the life of the soil; in them we have planted mustard, oats or other cereals. Being a self-sufficient farm, with the fruit of the polycultures we obtain food for our own and the farm's consumption.
Raventós i Blanc is a FARM, 100% Biodynamic Viticultur. We make our own biodynamic preparations. We work with manure from our animals, and we sow the covers to structure the soil, 7ha with the help of two horses. In winter our herd of goats and sheep graze on the farm to avoid mowing. Pioneers in animal traction.
