Its history began in the early 1950s, when Severino Lorenzon acquired the abandoned land that is considered unpromising. Going with professionalism and responsibility to solve the problem, with the support of his wife, Mary, and later his son Enzo, who did everything possible to make them some of the best vineyards in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
The turning point came in 1991 with the acquisition of the territory adjacent to the river Isontso. It is due to its variability and frequent flooding of the river, the soil layers are continually changing and mixed. There were purchased the first 15 hectares of Cru I Feudi di Romans,whose land is distinguished by a large content of crushed stone and painted red, indicating the high level of mineralization. The first wine from this area were released in 1996 and immediately found its fans, whose number is growing every year.
Today, the company belongs to Lorentzonhas 120 hectares of vineyards in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, planted with indigenous and international grape varieties. In the management of winery attended by representatives of the third generation - David and Nicolas Lorentzon. Due to high quality wines that reflect the true spirit of family traditions and the unique character of the land, Lorenzon family products are popular not only in Italy but also in over 20 countries around the world.
